Week 10 of P365 and Template 68

Ten weeks of P365 down....only 42 to go....and it's getting really hard on some days! Luckily over the next couple of weeks, the boys have some school aquatics and sports days coming up. These should give me a few thousand photos at least! The only problem is that on those days I can only use one photo!
This week I resorted to more drink photos...the first being a glass of bubbly after we ran out of wine. The second photo is of our carport gutter after we actually got some rain....too much for the gutters to handle because they are all still blocked with gunk from our neighbours' trees. Photo number 3 is what my morning coffee looks like every day. Photo 4 was taken during my quick trip into town last week....and shows the different building styles - old and new! The next two photos are of Matthew in his special new school windcheater that all year sixes and sevens get to wear, and his new soccer tracksuit jacket. The last one was taken at the Goolwa Wooden Boat festival which was held over the long weekend. There weren't as many boats or people this year because of the low water.

Here's another template for you all.....great for P365!

Sorry link expired.

Thank you very much for the great template.

I have to admit that for I while I stressed out about only being able to choose one photo a day for P36. I thought about it for awhile and I just made up my mind that if I wanted to post 2 or 3 pics per day, I would! (Talk about feeling like a rebel....) I'm using my P365as a "family diary" of what we see and do throughout the year. Some days I might have 2 or 3 pics & then on other days, I might not have any pics, just journaling.

You take the most fabulous photos. I love the way you compose them and crop them. And, I love that glass you're pouring the bubbly into! Thank you for the template. I really like the scalloped mat.

I can sympathize - I gave a fleeting thought to a 365 project, but with no kids or pets, I knew I would soon run out of photo ops. Since then, I've been looking at some of Jim Krauses' photo idea books, and think I will try again next year for a 365 project, using his ideas. For example, I just bought his "places" book, and it's given me a lot of cool ideas for photos: a place you visit regularly, with a different perspective or aim every time, or at different times of day, etc; signs or metal objects; well-known buildings from unusual vantage points (e.g., behind); a small stuffed toy on the dashboard of your car, or as it looks out over a favourite landscape; abstracts around you (e.g., part of a roadway). Just some of his many great ideas. Good luck! A Canuck.
