More Page Borders

The boys have already had one week of the their two week school holiday break. We have had some beautiful sunny days, and some cold, wet and very windy days like today!
The boys have been so inspired by watching Master Chef, that since the cupcake bake-off on Monday, Justin has baked two cakes and made gnocchi. Matthew even made some chicken, spinach and pesto skewers for tea last night.

I have added my Page Borders 2 to my store, along with two sets for those of you that scrap in 11" x 8.5" size. Also new in the store is a second set of Simple Masks. I am loving using both the borders and masks right now.

Here is an example of a page border in use - re-coloured and used with my More Moments kit.

I have made an extra border to share today - it comes in both 12" square and 11" x 8.5". All my page borders will now be available in both sizes. Use these borders as is or change the colour to suit the layout.

School Vacation Begins...and Photo Holder Samples

My boys have just begun their two week school holiday break.
They have been watching Master Chef and got inspired to have a cupcake bake off! We spent nearly 3 hours in the kitchen, and when they were finished I had to judge them. I couldn't decide on a winner, so when DH came home from work we independently gave them a score out of ten each. That way we didn't know who was going to win. DH didn't even know who made each one!

Andrew made cherry ripe flavour (cherry, coconut and chocolate), Justin did lemon, while Matthew did rum and orange...although I couldn't taste the rum essence (some Cointreau would have been nice).

The winner ended up being Matthew by one point and they all tasted fabulous.

Week 27 of P365 has disappeared with more food photos! One night I cooked waffles and the boys had fun creating a visually pleasing dish. The second photo was taken only a minute before the massive storm hit last week.

If you have been over to Scrapbook-Bytes in the last 3 days, you would have seen our beautiful new collab - Washed Away - which is free with any $10 order from participating designers. I must say that this collab is one of my favourites, but then I love beach kits!

Here's a fun layout I did with my Another Day in Paradise kit. The photo doesn't really show how big Freddo was...but he was huge compared to all the other hot air balloons.

I have a couple of extra Photo Holders for you to sample today.

Wild, wild weather...and new Template 79!

I know it's winter here at the moment, but the wild storm we had yesterday was crazy! I have never seen so many uprooted trees and fallen branches. It looked like a mini tornado went through...with our suburb being one of the worst hit! Luckily we don't have any big trees on our property. Branches fell on many cars and houses. I was planning to go outside to take some photos but I was getting wet standing inside the house, so I closed the door and just watched.

The strong wind even blew over this truck onto parked cars at McDonalds (photo from the news website)! I was at that McDonalds a few times only 2 weeks ago when Matthew was playing soccer.

I have 10 new CT members who have already been doing some fabulous pages. I will post some of their first layouts in the next couple of days.

I have another template which is suitable for P365. This one has frames with pre-shadowed 'curled' corners.

Another Day in Paradise Brag Pages....and another P365 week!

To everyone still doing Project 365, congratulations you have nearly made it to the half way point!
Here are my photos from week 26. You will see that I am really struggling for photos this week...three of my photos are of Matthew's tomato sauce (ketchup) sandwiches. Each morning we are trying to draw something unique! There seems to be a pattern developing....my photos are nearly always food or soccer! I really need to find some other subjects to take.

For all my scrapbooking blog readers, today I have a couple of brag book pages made from my Another Day in Paradise kit.

Another Day in Paradise!

It's that time of year when we are freezing our butts off down under while I have been designing a new beach/pool kit. At least I can dream about bright, warm sunny days while I am working!
My new kit - Another Day in Paradise - is now in the store, along with two new sets of Window Frames (4 and 5) which co-ordinate with the kit.

Here's a couple of layouts I have done with Another Day in Paradise. I must say that I love doing beach pages, which is good because I have lots yet to scrap!

I have created a bonus window frame to share today...enjoy!
