October Magic Glitter

Another weekend is gone and now there are only 7 school weeks until the summer break. We are having some exceptionally hot weather for October and the boys' cricket was called off yesterday because of it.
I bought a couple of pizza stones to cook my home-made pizzas on and they really did taste better! I just couldn't find anything written in the instructions on whether I should be cutting them on the stone - so I didn't! If anyone knows whether you can or shouldn't, please let me know.
Today Matthew and Justin attended the third week of soccer trials (for next year's teams). Now we wait to hear whether they have made their respective teams! We should know within 2 or 3 days.

For some reason 4shared disabled the link to my Template 53. I have now restored the link in my original post, or you can now download it here if you missed it.

Here's a couple of Halloween layouts that Stephanie from my CT did with my October Magic kit...

...... and Lorie M (who won October Magic) did this beautiful one!

I have some October Magic glitter to share today - awesome for all those Halloween layouts!

New Golden Falls

My application for Australian citizenship is now in the hands of the Immigration department. If all goes well it will be formalised on January 26th (Australia Day). I guess that is still a long wait to cut through all the red tape! Oh well, at least it is now underway.

I have another new kit in the store - Golden Falls - and hope you aren't sick of seeing too many Autumn kits yet! I promise this is my last one this year. I also have a set of 12" quickpages at Scrapbook-Bytes....and the best news is that both these new releases are on sale for 30% off until Nov 3!

Here's one layout using the kit....

...and lastly, I have a couple of brag book pages to share today.

New Mini Kit & Worn Torn Frames

Another weekend bites the dust!
Justin and Matthew started the weekend with a game of school cricket on Saturday and both played really well. Justin got his highest batting score to date - 48! The weather has been unseasonally warm so we all enjoyed a swim before going out to celebrate the in-laws 50th wedding anniversary.
Sunday saw the boys participate in the second week of soccer trials. Next week is the last trial, then we wait to see whether they have made the teams for next year!
If anyone is feeling hungry, this is what I made for dessert tonight....and we actually have a little bit left for tomorrow night! LOL It's sort of a frozen chocolate mousse cheesecake - made from a packet! Are you drooling yet?

My new mini kit Romance which I showed yesterday is now in store....along with a set of Worn & Torn Frames.

Here's another layout I made with the mini kit. I also used a Worn & Torn Frame and a paper from my bonus paper pack which I am offering here today.

Here is the Romance bonus papers for you.

Golden Anniversary

Today my in-laws are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary, and in this day and age that is a huge achievement!

To commemorate this occasion I have put together a mini kit - Romance.
I was planning on getting this into the shop today but we spent too long in the pool this afternoon then it was quite late by the time we all got home from celebrating.
Here's a preview of the kit which will be in my store tomorrow. I designed this for all those romantic occasions - engagements, weddings, anniversaries and Valentines!

Aussie Aussie Aussie.....and new Template 57

I finally got around to sit the test to become an Australian Citizen......and I passed!!!! I have lived here since I was one year old and now I need to go through all the other 'red tape' to become an official Aussie!

To celebrate, you can get my Symphony of Stars kit for 40% off for 4 days only!

These are the delicious choc chip cookies I made this morning. It's a good job I took the photo when I did, because there aren't many left now! The boys helped make them vanish when they got home from school.

I have some fabulous layouts that my CT have done with October Magic. These help show how versatile the kit is.

...and lastly, I have created a new template to share. This one would be great if you want to display many photos on one page, or simply like lots of paper blocks.

School's Back ..... New Cluster Frame

After a two week holiday, the boys all went back to school today. The last term (of only 9 weeks) always goes quickly as we prepare for Christmas and the long Summer holiday.
Today though, I enjoyed a day pottering around our very quiet house!

Here's a layout I did today that I kept really simple. The credits can be found here.

I made a triple cluster frame to share today....with shadowed 'bent' corners. I have also included an unshadowed single frame.

New Mulberry Lane

The weather was warm today so we all took time out to go for a stroll along the beach.
We are very lucky here in Adelaide because we have miles and miles of beautiful beaches which are only minutes away by car. Because they are so close we tend to take them for granted and don't get there as much as we should. Today we went to O'Sullivan Beach where dogs are allowed to roam around off their leash. Needless to say, Sally loves it there. She had a little 'dummy spit' when it was time to leave by sitting on the sand and refusing to be tugged away when she was back on her lead!

Matthew and Justin ran with their beach soccer balls all the way!

I think Sally looks shocked here after she chased her ball into the sea only to find a big wave about to crash on her!

My Summer Breeze kit is on sale at 40% off until October 20th. Check out this quickpage exchange at Scrapbook-Bytes if you already have this kit or would like to participate.

I finally got my new kit into the store after uploading during the night while my boys were sleeping. They go back to school on Monday so the internet will be mine whenever I want it again!
Anyway, I have a new page kit, Mulberry Lane, along with a quickpage set and a bracket album (made to fit the Basic Grey albums). As usual, these are on special for the first few days at 20% off.

Here's a closer look at some of the details.

I have made a couple of brag book pages to give away to my loyal readers today....enjoy!

I'm Back......again...with new things!

I have been MIA over the last few days because we took an extended long weekend break and ended up being away for 5 relaxing days!
When we got back home today, everyone wanted to get on the internet so I had to take a number and wait my turn! The kids are all tucked up in bed now (it's after midnight!) so the net is mine!
Here's a few photos from our weekend.
There was a huge street festival on the Sunday. The steam train and paddle boat 'Oscar W' were big attractions.

There were old cars and a craft fair down by the water.

We missed the cream bun eating competition but they gave away the left overs after so DH and I shared one... and boy was it nice! Our boys missed out because they stayed back at the house a little longer before heading out on their bikes!!

We didn't get out for a paddle on the surf skis but the boys did manage to get the boat out for a quick run to blow the cobwebs away. Matthew is desperate to learn to water ski so if there is enough water come Christmas time, he may get the chance. We did lots of bike riding, and even taught the boys how to play Pictionary! The first night went quite well - with only 1 dummy spit! The second night was worse so we have packed it away for another 20 years!

Sally discovered there were balls on the pool table that she wanted!

I have a couple of new things in my store....
October Magic Bracket Album

and October Magic Frame Clusters. The frames come as decorated (shadowed) clusters and plain (unshadowed) clusters.

I have a ton of other new stuff too but I need to find time to upload it when my boys don't want the computer!

I made an extra October Magic decorated frame for you all today.
