Bloom and Grow Alpha 2

Yesterday was an exciting day!
It was our 24th wedding anniversary, and I got my new doorway after 5 months of waiting! LOL
Our pantry supplies are all over the house at the moment, so it's a challenge finding what you want sometimes! We still have 2 weeks of chaos until the new kitchen arrives, and during that time we have to pull the old cupboards out and remove the wall and floor tiles. I wish I could click my fingers and have it all finished!

Here's my wonderful new doorway. (Can't believe the old owners of the house lived without a door between the kitchen and family room for 18 years)!

It's $ Tuesday at Gotta Pixel......so you can buy Refresh or Morning Mist page kits for only $2 each, and the matching frames for $1 each....one day only!

I made an alpha for my Bloom and Grow kit, then changed my mind and made another one! Here's the first one....enjoy!

New Bloom and Grow

Another week bites the dust, and my boys are on school holidays again!
The soccer season officially comes to a close on Sunday, and we get two whole weeks off before the fun and games of soccer trials for 2011 begin! With my Soccer Inc kit retiring at the end of the month, it will soon be time to design a new one.

I have a new collection in my stores today - Bloom and Grow - versatile enough for many different pages. The kit, frames and embossed papers are available at both my Pickleberrypop and Gotta Pixel stores, and are 30% off for a limited time.

Big Weekend and a Sneak Peek!

Pedal Prix is over for yet another year!
I survived the busy weekend with only 3 hours sleep between Andrew's rides during the night. After 6 years riding, he finally got to finish the race. It rained pretty much all through the night until around 9am, which was a bit annoying. It also made the race track very slippery. Luckily, when Andrew rolled the bike he came out without a scratch. His bike finished 33rd out of 214 bikes, which was a fabulous effort!

Andrew is ready for the race to begin!

The race starts 12 noon Saturday...

24 hours later....here's the winning bike!

The next day, Andrew changed bike wheels for car tyres!
It is the weirdest thing...seeing your child drive off for their first solo drive after getting a drivers licence. Andrew got to do that yesterday. He drove himself to cricket practice! How soon they become independent!

Now for a little sneak peek at what I have coming out on Friday....

It's $1 and $2 day at Gotta Pixel.....for one day only you can get my October Magic kit or bracket album for only $2 each, or the quickpages, mini kit add on, stamp clusters or frames for $1 each!

I turned one of my previous layouts into a quickpage to share...happy scrapping!

Spooky Halloween QP, borders and bracket album

I enjoyed playing with my Spooky Halloween kit so much, that I created some quickpages and a bracket album (to fit Basic grey). I also designed some Halloween Borders to be used with the kit. Now you will have everything you could possible need for Halloween!

Dollar Day at Gotta Pixel......and Template 116

Today, our household went from 2 to 3 drivers! Andrew now has his driver's licence...so it's time to hide the car keys! As long as we don't hide them too well and can't find them ourselves! I still can't quite believe that he is old enough to to drive. Kids really do grow up very quickly. That's why we need to take lots of photos, and preserve the memories in our scrapbook pages.

Here's a few recent pages my CT have done using my Shades of Fall kit.

For dollar day at Gotta Pixel, you can get my Boys R Us and Girls R Us kits for $2 each, and the matching quickpages for only $1 each.

There is something very elegant about a simple layout...so I have a new template to get you started.

$2 Tuesday and a new sneak peek!

We have been in our new house for nearly five months already, and other than painting 3 rooms, we haven't changed much.......yet!
The extremely wet winter we have had has held up some of our home improvements....not to mention the wrong size shed being delivered! Anyway, we got the correct shed delivered after some tense moments and lots of phone calls. The rain finally stopped (if only for a day or two), and look....we finally have something happening...our shed has been started. Hopefully the installers will come back tomorrow and there will be more progress.

It will be great to get some stuff out of our carport before the summer heat starts, so we can park our cars where they should be put.

It's $2 Tuesday at Gotta Pixel, so you can get these kits for $2 each for one day only, but be quick!

I am very excited to show you this little peek of my new kit coming on Saturday, and can't wait to reveal the whole kit.

I am sure that some of you have been waiting very patiently for my September stamp cluster...well here it is!

Wild, Wild Weather...and New Releases!

It's officially the third day of Spring, and what a day we had today!
The wild, wet and windy conditions were far worse than any winter's day this year. We had thunder and lightning too (our dog went troppo all day)! We had so much rain, I thought I needed a boat to pick my boys up from school!
All soccer practice and games have been cancelled, and there is more rain coming all weekend. I need to buy some paint and make good use of the weekend by repainting my study. If only I could do it in Photoshop, it would be so much quicker (and less messy)!

I have a couple of new releases this week....Slam Dunk mini kit and Stitched Frames.

I can't wait to show you my new release coming next week....
