We had a wonderful day with family and had perfect weather for sitting outside and swimming in the afternoon.
For those in the northern hemisphere who don't know, it is a tradition here Down Under that between Christmas and New Year most businesses shut down and (nearly) everyone leaves town. The coastal and riverland towns overflow with holiday makers. It is always good to be near a lake, river or beach because of the scorching hot days we get. Today, New Year's Eve is supposed to be 41C (105F).
We just returned from a few days away, where we slept in and relaxed (with no internet). We walked the dog and paddled on the lake. My boys enjoyed some games of backyard cricket and a few donut rides on the lake. Here's a few photos from our week.

Waiting for the fun to begin

Some of the fun!

One more day until I start P365 again and I can't wait to see if I can make it all the way through until the end of 2011. I have already started working on some new designs for my project.
Happy New Year everyone.....enjoy my fireworks!
